Passing of Willie Ravenell

It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Willlie Ravenell on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Willie, who worked in Building Services, served as a heavy laborer since December 1998. For many years, he cleaned the first floor of Building 11, as a member of the overnight crew.

Willie loved going fishing. He tried to go out almost every weekend and most enjoyed the Sodus Bay area, often taking family and coworkers with him. He liked to travel and recently went on his first cruise. And Willie very much enjoyed playing cards with friends. His easygoing personality and infectious laughter will truly be missed.

Calling hours and wake will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Breath of Life Seven Day Adventist Church, 1410 Clifford Ave. in Rochester, and the funeral will be held at the same location at noon on Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to his wife, Mrs. Karen Ravenell, and children at 469 Colvin St., Rochester 14606.
