On Nov. 8, Samson Olaode, director, STAGE, and assistant professor (adjunct) in Transitional Studies, presented at the CIT League of Innovation Conference in Tampa. Fla.
Olaode, a doctoral student in Walden University’s online Community College Leadership Ph.D program shared how his doctoral experience positively affected Monroe Community College. The presentation "entitled Hear From Tomorrow’s Leaders Today” was designed to motivate faculty in community colleges pursue doctoral education without having to relocate or commute. About 50 conference attendees, including top members of MCC administration, were present.
Olaode, who is also the current MCC Toastmasters Club’s vice president membership, stated that his successful presentation was enhanced by his membership in the club.
