College Update on COVID-19 Testing Efforts & Cases

Out of the 1,238 pooled tests MCC conducted last week, no positive cases of COVID-19 were identified. Test results are directly emailed to students and employees who participate in pooled testing. Results are also available in the SUNY Upstate Medical site.

Currently:

  • No students are isolating on campus.
  • 4 students are isolating off campus.
  • 4 students are in mandatory quarantine off campus.

MCC Testing Stats to Date:

  • 22,247 completed COVID-19 pooled tests
  • 41 total cases identified among students and employees through pooled testing.
  • 0.18% positivity rate.

This week, pooled testing sessions will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28 in the Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus. No appointment necessary.
