The 2002-2003 Internal Grants Competition has begun! Be sure to submit your proposal by Dec. 20 to be considered. Two workshops will be hosted this week by the Grants Office to help you understand the process and get you started:
* Nov. 6, Board Lounge, Room 1-320, Brighton Campus, College Hour: Noon - 1:00 pm
* Nov. 7, Room 4-057, Damon City Campus (access through the library), College Hour: Noon - 1:00 pm
Please RSVP by calling Susan Davis, secretary, Grants, at x3028. Feel free to bring your lunch to either of the workshops.

Last year, grants totaling nearly $650,000 were awarded to MCC faculty and staff which resulted in new courses, degree programs, display cases, software and student incentives -- all because someone like you took the time to submit a brief proposal. So, if there's something you are passionate about, why not apply? There's nothing to lose.
