Celtic Society Invites You to Search for King Arthur

Join MCC’s Celtic Society today at 6 p.m. in 12-125 for a F-R-E-E screening and discussion of Michael Wood's IN SEARCH OF MYTHS & HEROES: KING ARTHUR.

An engaging historian, famous for his popular documentaries exploring topics as various as the Trojan War and William Shakespeare, Wood leads us through layers of history, literature, and mythology, "untangling the tales of King Arthur's Celtic Britain" (PBS.org).

Throughout the fall semester, you can catch screenings and discussions of a number of Celtic-related films. Each is free, is open to the community, and begins at 6 p.m. in 12-125. We'll screen our final fall semester film, EVELYN, on 10 December.

Celtic Society’s purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community. Celtic Society welcomes all students, faculty, and employees, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
