Mental Health First Aid Training: February 20th and 21st!

The Counseling Center and Disability Services are excited offering Mental Health First Aid training to ALL MCC employees! The training will be led by Shannon Glasgow, MS, LMHC, from the MCC Counseling Center and Disability Services and Michael Johnson, MS Ed, NCC from the Student Engagement Center.

There is still room for additional participants in our February training:

This 9-hour training program teaches participants to help others who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. (https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/cs/)

We will be offering the training in a two day format on:

  • February 20th and 21st, 9:30-2:00, Downtown Campus, High Falls Room.

Please email Shannon Glasgow at sglasgow@monroecc.edu to sign up for the training.
