New parking options and parking registration procedure for employees…coming soon!
No waiting in Parking Services window, to pick up your permit…
No parking permit to be affixed to vehicle…..Under the new system, employees will no longer need to obtain or affix a parking permit to their car. Their parking registration is tied to their license plate. This system will be fully implemented in Fall 2013.
To register your vehicle(s) for parking on the Brighton Campus:
- Sign into your myMCC account with your “M” number and password.
- Go to the Employee tab.
- Select My Parking Account.
- You will be prompted for a term. Select the current term.
- Select Vehicle Registration/Purchase by Semester from the drop-down menu. If you are a contract employee you are not charged for parking. If you are an hourly employee payment can be made through the system. If you would like to pay for multiple months, payment must be made at Parking Services.
- Make a selection from vehicle listed above (if applicable) or add a vehicle (have your vehicle registration available). All information requested is required to complete the transaction.
- Select Request Parking.
Access to gated employees lots will be activated by a camera scanning the license plate. Implementation will begin early summer of 2013. An additional Tribune announcement will be made when the system is live. Once implemented there will be no need for your ID for access to the gate system. Your parking registration (your license plate) will allow you to access the gated employee parking lots A, K and P. Please refer to the Brighton Campus map
You are able to register multiple vehicles on your parking account; however only one vehicle is allowed on campus at a time. Just as a reminder, employees with students attending the college must obtain their own parking registration for their vehicle(s) even if the vehicle is shared. Your child would follow the same steps above using their own “My Parking Account”. Employees’ children are not permitted to park in Faculty/Staff parking lots or spaces. Vehicles will be ticketed.
