Article by Kimberley Collins and Michael Jacobs Featured in AAC&U Publication

Congratulations to Associate Vice President Kimberley Collins (Academic Services) and Dean Michael Jacobs (Humanities & Social Sciences) on the inclusion of their article, “Institutionalizing Equity Consciousness through Collaboration” in the Association of American Colleges and Universities’ recent publication, Paths to Success: How Community Colleges Are Strengthening Guided Pathways to Ensure Students Are Learning. The publication is an anthology of narratives from twenty leading community colleges across the United States that participated in AAC&U’s 2019-2021 grant initiative, Strengthening Guided Pathways and Career Success by ensuring Students are Learning. For their article, AVP Collins and Dean Jacobs—who co-led MCC’s participation in the grant—interviewed a number of faculty and staff whose work intersects with the tenets of the initiative: equity consciousness, scaling and enhancing high-impact practices, and learning assessment.

Hard copies of the publication are being printed and will be available in the next month. Please visit the publication webpage to download a pdf version.
