The "What Happened to the Class of 2020?" Report is Now Available
The “What Happened to the Class of 2020?” brochure is now available electronically at https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/research/what-happened-to-the-class-of/. The brochure will not be available as a hard copy, and the book will not be available as a hard copy or electronically this year. However, faculty and staff who need specific data on graduates’ outcomes can request them from IR.
Some of the highlights from the report include:
- 1,098 (57 percent) of the graduates had been in transfer (A.A. and A.S. degree) programs.
- 527 (28 percent) of the graduates had been in career (A.A.S. degree) programs.
- 293 (15 percent) of the graduates had been in certificate programs.
- We have outcome data on 59 percent of the graduates. It came from the Graduate Follow-Up Survey, National Student Clearinghouse, and various MCC departments. The data shows that…
- 58 percent of graduates are either employed or continuing their education.
- Graduates were hired by 190 different employers.
- Graduates transferred to 108 different colleges and universities.
- Of the career and certificate program graduates who secured full-time employment, 85 percent are in jobs related to their major and 93 percent are employed locally.
- SUNY Brockport continues to be the #1 receiving campus, with 213 of our graduates transferring there. RIT was second with 94.
