Faculty Association Fall Back To Campus Series Continues

Faculty Association President Bethany Gizzi received a grant from the American Federation of Teachers to welcome back students and employees to the various MCC campuses. Bethany has worked with campus partners to develop a multi-faceted prorgam that is open to all students and employees. The first programs at the Downtown campus (100 students and employees) and at the Brighton campus (160 students and employees) were engaging and successful. We thank Doug Miller for serving as the first TED Talk presenter, as his address on wellness was well received.

We hope that students and employees on campus will stop by for the next free meal and an educational presentation at 15 minutes past the hour. The next TED Talk will be delivered by Eric Wheeler on the topic of leadership. Information on the covid vaccination, pooled testing, and related health topics will also be available.

Our thanks to Bethany for her great work!
