Melissa Jarkowski Appointed Director of Financial Aid Operations

I am pleased to announce Melissa Jarkowski's appointment as Director of Financial Aid Operations.

Melissa has been employed at MCC since 1993, holding numerous positions, including Financial Aid Advisor, Specialist, Assistant Director, and, most recently, Interim Director of Financial Aid Operations. Her expertise lies in managing the operation of the Financial Aid Office, coordinating community outreach and enrollment and retention activities, and overseeing the complex technical requirements of financial aid processing and regulation implementation. She has been instrumental in collaborating with organizations such as Rochester Area College Network (RCAN) to promote Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion in our community, and she serves on the RCAN Advisory Board. Melissa is completing her Master's Degree at SUNY Brockport.

In her new role as Director, Melissa is looking forward to implementing new and enhanced services in the Financial Aid Office and the Financial Aid Lab in order to meet the enrollment and retention goals of the college.
