Please be advised that the base wage for student aides has been increased from $7.25 per hour to $8.00 per hour. This increase is consistent with New York State legislation which increased the minimum wage to $8.00 per hour effective December 31, 2013. The College will be implementing the new rate on January 1, 2014.
All supervisors of student employees are urged to monitor budgets since the increased wage rate expends College work study awards and budget allotments more quickly.
