Call for Proposals for League's 2004 Conference on Information Technology

Copies of the Call for Proposals general information brochure are now available in the Student Services office for the League for Innovations 20th Annual Conference on Information Technology (CIT) being held in Tampa, Nov. 7-10, 2004.  The online proposal form is available at www.league.org/2004cit.

The League invites our staff to participate in this exciting conference and help contribute to a community of learners dedicated to exploring and expanding the use of information technology in the community college.  The League is especially interested in receiving proposals from our campus about the exciting and cutting-edge ways we are using technology to improve teaching and learning, student services, organizational management, and partnerships.

The 2004 CIT again promises a wide range of learning options:
>State-of-the-art technical infrastructures with high-speed internet connections.
>Internet/E-Mail Lab open to participants 24 hours a day.
>Hands-On Alley, where participants can learn by doing with some of the best technology available.
>Technologically sophisticated and topically diverse program that enables educators to explore and expand their use of technology.
>Learning Center Courses with in-depth coverage of current topics in information technology facilitated by recognized leaders.
>Exhibition of resources and services from over 100 corporate partners.
>Keynotes by engaging speakers.
