Yaxley Selected to Serve in VSFS eInternship


Bridgette Yaxley, Assistant English Adjunct Professor, has been selected by the U.S. Department of State to serve in the Virtual Student Foreign Services (VSFS) eInternship Program, from 2013 - 2014. Some of her responsibilities will include conducting research on behalf of the American Spaces - Online Educational Resources Division, creating and disseminating surveys, evaluating research, preparing reports and presenting them to the State Department on collected data regarding trends in online teaching and learning.  Successfully competing with nearly 3,000 applicants for this lucrative opportunity, Bridgette began this internship recently and is now serving with an exclusive team at the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C., corresponding online.
