The Sixth Act Presents Einstein's Dreams

With support from Creative Arts and MCC’s Honors Institute, The Sixth Act is pleased to announce its production of Jeffery Jones’ original adaptation of Alan Lightman’s novel Einstein’s Dreams on Thursday, April 9; Friday, April 10; and Saturday, April 11. The play will be at 8 p.m. in the Black Box Theater, and metered parking will be available. All performances will be followed by facilitated discussion.

Admission is free of charge, but as seating is very limited, tickets must be secured in advance. You and your students can secure tickets by contacting Pam Emigh-Murphy at 292-3378 or <"mailto:pemighmurphy@monroecc.edu"> Tickets will be available beginning Monday, March 16.

Also, please note that Lightman will be speaking to the college on Friday, March 20, at 12 noon, in the MCC Theater, and again as part of Scholars Day on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m., in the MCC Theater. His Saturday talk will be accompanied by a sneak preview of the April performance.

According to Catalyst Collaborative at MIT, Einstein’s Dreams is “a journey—alternately wry and wild, funny and intellectually stimulating, provocative and surprisingly moving.” We hope to see you and your students at the show!
