Looking for Commencement Stories

You know them. They’re in your classes. MCC has a diverse population of students. But who among them has a unique, compelling story to tell?

Each year the MCC College and Community Relations team asks for your help in identifying student stories for the local media. In the past, members of the media have covered a graduate with a long family tradition of attending MCC, A Lost Boy from Sudan, a career-changer, a mother and daughter who both crossed the stage, and an 87-year-old widower who was fulfilling a promise he’d made to his wife. We know there are plenty of wonderful stories in our midst!

If you would like to suggest a student, please contact your College and Community Relations representative or send an email including the student’s name and a brief explanation of what makes his/her story newsworthy to: <"mailto:jekis@monroecc.edu">.

Thanks so much.
