We are pleased to inform you that the Monroe Community College 31st Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Friday, May 17, 2012 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 East Main St., Rochester, New York. The purpose of the banquet is to showcase the varied academic and co-curricular accomplishments of our students. Because this is a college-wide event, we annually seek to increase participation. Thus, if your department annually bestows academic awards on deserving students, we invite your participation in this banquet.
Attached are two forms we would like you to complete for any Fall/Spring semester students you would like to recognize at the banquet in May. As soon as you identify your award recipients, please work with the students to fill out the biographical information for the printed program. Our goal is to see that each student’s information is complete for this keepsake.
Please complete all of the necessary information on the attached forms and send them to Betty Stewart, Director of the Office of Student Life & Leadership Development. If your department does not present any awards, please return the Award Winner’s List form indicating “NONE.” (Please use the attachments.)
