New Directors Bring Experience, Perspective to MCC Foundation Board


Experienced business leaders David Beinetti, Kenneth Hines, Karen Martin, and Maureen Wolfe were appointed to the MCC Foundation Board of Directors for a three-year term. As directors, they will help lead the Foundation’s efforts to provide students the scholarship support they need to complete their educational goals at MCC

Beinetti is president of SWBR Architects, an award-winning architectural firm that serves local and East Coast clients. He earned bachelor’s degrees in architecture and psychology from Syracuse University and studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, England. He also serves on the boards of the Design Build Institute of America, Liberty Northeast Chapter, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

With more than 30 years of experience, Hines is a wealth management advisor and senior vice president of wealth management for Merrill Lynch. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration and accounting from the Oklahoma College of Business and Banking. He has served on the boards of American Baptist Churches USA, the Rochester Area Community Foundation, the Humane Society of Rochester, and the Urban League of Rochester.

Martin joined Corning Incorporated Foundation in 1988, serving the last two years as president. For more than 60 years, the Foundation has been dedicated to improving the quality of life in communities where Corning Incorporated, its sponsoring company, is an active corporate citizen. A graduate of Wells College (Aurora, N.Y.), Martin has served on numerous local, regional and state not-for-profit governance boards and committees, including the Women-in-Engineering Advisory Council at The Pennsylvania State University, and the Minorities-in-Engineering Advisory Council at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Wolfe is senior vice president, Human Resources & Community Relations, for ESL Federal Credit Union, a leading Rochester financial institution. She oversees hiring, total rewards, performance management, talent development, employee communications, public relations, and shared value programs for the organization. In 2014, Wolfe was the first recipient of the HR Executive of the Year award from the National Human Resources Association’s Rochester Chapter. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor of arts degree in communications from SUNY Geneseo.
