Come Join the Co-Requisite Conversation TODAY!

All faculty, staff, and administrators are welcome to attend today's lunch and learn to talk about the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP). The ENG/PHL and the ESOL/TRS departments are collaborating on a pilot that enables students to take developmental writing, TRS 105, while they are concurrently enrolled in College Composition, ENG 101. Shortening the time students are enrolled in non-credit coursework has met with positive results nationally and shows early promise here at MCC. If you are interested in this model and its implications for students and the College, faculty involved in the ALP pilot will be leading a discussion on Wednesday, November 15th at noon in the Brighton Teaching and Creativity Center (12-201).
