Digital Reminders for Priority Registration

Students on campus who check their Facebook pages or surf the internet will now see digital ads reminding them that priority registration is open at MCC.

The digital ads are part of a geofencing campaign that targets a specific geography, such as a building, with digital advertising. In this campaign, the Brighton and Downtown campuses are ground zero for the advertising.

Geofencing is just one communications tactic, along with direct mail, text messages, outbound calling, banners and flyers, to encourage our students to seek advising and register for spring semester. Marketing and Community Relations and Enrollment Management work together to encourage registration through a multi-step strategic communications strategy. Postcards were also mailed to the households of all current students this past weekend.
