Guidelines for MCC Certificates

Many MCC departments and programs issue certificates to recognize student and employee accomplishments and involvement. The College has set forth guidelines to ensure quality and consistency because certificates have the potential to be highly visible and, therefore, must represent us well.

Guidelines for All Certificates Issued by MCC:

1) Every signatory must have his or her name and title printed below his or her signature.

2) Ranking signatory is positioned to the left and/or above other signatories.

3) Must reference a date (i.e., the date of issuance, year associated with the program, etc.).

4) MCC name takes precedence over the name of the issuing MCC department/program (i.e. the Monroe Community College Department of XYZ, not the XYZ Department of Monroe Community College; MCC name is always in type equal to or larger than the department’s name).
