Kodak to Receive Salute to Excellence in January


The Monroe Community College Foundation will present its 2003 Salute to Excellence award to Eastman Kodak Company on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Chairman and CEO Daniel A. Carp will accept the award on behalf of the company.

Event tickets are $75 per person for MCC faculty and staff (discounted from $100 general admission price) and must be reserved by Jan. 6, 2004. To take advantage of the discount, please indicate that you are an MCC faculty/staff member on your invitation reply cards or call the MCC Foundation at 585.262.1500. Invitations will be mailed shortly.

Now in its 14th year, the Salute to Excellence award recognizes individual and corporate philanthropists, and business and community leaders who have contributed to our community and the College. Past recipients include Rochester Business Alliance CEO Thomas T. Mooney, former county manager Lucien Morin, Xerox Corporation and Time Warner Cable. Funds raised at this annual event support student scholarships, faculty enrichment programs, program innovation and the purchase of education equipment at Monroe Community College.

Eastman Kodak Company will be honored for its continued investment in MCC Students and the company’s most recent gift of $1 million to Building on Success: The Campaign for Monroe Community College.
