TCC: Invitation to join the Egalitarianism and Education Book Group

Egalitarian social movements and thinkers have analyzed the purposes, problems, and promises of education.  This reading group will read and discuss the work of two prominent egalitarian thinkers, Elizabeth Anderson and Danielle Allen, who have proposed responses to racial, economic, and gender inequality in society and in education systems.  Their writings provoke us to consider the lives of our students, the workplaces our students will enter, and the forces that shape our curriculum.

This group will meet on Thursdays from 3:30 - 5 pm.
