Attention Faculty: Request for Proposals (RFP) on exploring the Integration of 3D Technology into the Curriculum


MCC has recently acquired, through donations from Brite Computers, the latest in 3D display technology to explore its potential academic uses and integration into the curriculum.

The 3D technology is located in the Faculty Innovation Center, Building 3, Room 150. Appointments to experience the technology can be arranged through Jeremy Case (Ext. 2588). College-wide orientations to the technology will be scheduled throughout May and June.

ETS and Academic Services are jointly sponsoring projects to explore the production of 3D applications and models at MCC.

The production and instructional goals of this RFP project include:
   Development of a collection of academic applications utilizing 3D technology.
   Recommendations for future directions in utilizing 3D technology in the curriculum.
   Recommendations for evaluating 3D technology in the learning environment.
