Web Conference on a Sustainable Future

Find out from national experts what you can do to help create a more environmentally, socially and economically healthy society.

Join us for an AACC Webcast: “Education for a Sustainable Future – What You Need to Know” from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, in the Board Lounge.

The program will provide an overview of campus sustainability issues and resources, and will highlight:

sustainability education in curricula, marketing and public relations, facilities, purchasing planning, student life and community partnerships; and,

the growing wave of interest in sustainability in higher education in the US and Canada;
resources to help us build awareness.

The Webcast is offered through the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and brought to us by the Society for College and University Planning, on behalf of the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium and the Disciplinary Associations Network for Sustainability.

Because space is limited, please e-mail Berni Duffy at <mailto:bduffy@monroecc.edu> to reserve a seat.
