She interviewed Kevin French, chair of Applied Technologies, and HVAC students Chase Graham and Daniel Diaz.
NYSERDA grants totaling $207,000 were awarded to develop the Weatherization & Energy Efficiency House, the solar thermal technology certificate program and the Solar Thermal Auxiliary Resource Center. Opened in 2013, the house provides students with hands-on training for HVAC-related careers. It is the result of remarkable partnerships among academia, industry and students, who along with MCC faculty spent many weeks building the house.
Many thanks to Dale Pearce for identifying interview candidates in the HVAC program.
