For several years, the staff of the MCC Libraries has celebrated the holidays by purchasing fun gifts for one another. This year, it was decided to try something different. Staff was invited to donate the amount ordinarily spent on a gift to a charity drawing. Anyone donating to the drawing also was asked for the name of a favorite charity to be entered into a drawing. Today, the amount of $150 was given to Lollypop Farm, the charity picked at random. The amount was sufficient to have a brick engraved ‘From the MCC Libraries’ to be installed near the Fairport animal shelter.
