COVID-19 does not stop engineering students: Measuring Earth's Magnetic Field
The engineering students in professor Eschbach’ s upper level Electricity-Magnetism Physics course measured the strength of the Earth's Magnetic Gravitation Field in the Rochester area to understand climate change.
The hands-on physics experiments allow students to appreciate the importance of accurate scientific measurements and collaborations to understand the societal and scientific subject matter.
