The Greater Rochester Regional Career Conference will be held today, Thursday, May 27th 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Warshof Conference Center on the Brighton Campus. Sponsored by the Admissions Office, this event is coordinated by RochesterWorks!, Finger Lakes Works, and GLOW Works.
The career conference is designed to bring together job seekers, businesses with hiring needs, educational institutions and community agencies. Workshops include an Introduction to Facebook and LinkedIn, How to Sell Yourself, Design a Portfolio, and a Business Panel, to name a few.
Simultaneous events are being held at Finger Lakes Community College and Genesee Community College.
