MCC Culinary Students Will Participate in the Culinary Clash to Fight Alzheimer's on Wednesday, May 2nd.

The Alzheimer's Association Rochester and Finger Lakes Region will host the fourth edition of its Culinary Clash on Wednesday, May 2. The funds raised at this event will benefit the programs and services for individuals who live with Alzheimer's, or another dementia, and their care partners. The Culinary Clash will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, and tickets are available at www.alz.org/rochesterny.

Executive chefs from seven senior living communities have teamed up with culinary arts students from Monroe Community College and Finger Lakes Community College to create delicious entrées for the event's attendees. The chef-student teams will compete for the Top Chef Award before a panel of celebrity judges. In addition, members of the audience will have the opportunity to taste all the culinary creations, vote for their favorite dish, and decide who will win the People's Choice award.

Mark Mitchell, a MCC clash participant for 2018 and Bekkah Najeeullah, a MCC graduate and past participant, were featured on News 8 this week. View the segment here: https://bit.ly/2HpWspn
