Horror in the Hebrides


Get yourself ready for Halloween by watching The Wicker Man with Celtic Society. The FREE screening and discussion will take place on Tuesday, 29 October in 12-129.

Starring Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee, The Wicker Man has been called “The Citizen Kane of horror movies” by Cinefantastique magazine and was ranked the 4th best horror film of all time by The Guardian newspaper.

Throughout the fall semester, you can catch screenings and discussions of a number of Celtic-related films. Each is free, is open to the community, and begins at 6 p.m. in 12-129.

Celtic Society’s purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora.
