Congratulations to Bob Lasch, Applied Technologies, who earned a first place trophy for his humorous speech "Defenseless, Huh?" at the 2004 Toastmasters Central Division Fall Contest on Nov. 1, 2003 in Webster. Lasch competed against three other contestants from different Toastmasters clubs. With the win, Lasch has the opportunity to compete at the Toastmasters District 65 contest on Nov. 22 in Owego, N.Y. District 65 includes clubs from Western and Central New York.
