Roadwork on West Henrietta Road

MCC students and employees going to and from the Applied Technologies Center can expect major traffic delays as two road projects continue on West Henrietta Road through the end of December.

-- Bridge Repairs to Rt. 15 Bridge to 390 N:
The entrance ramp from Route 15 to I-390 northbound will be closed occasionally during nights and weekends. A detour will be posted directing traffic to take Westfall Road to Route 15A to I-390 north. There may also be lane/shoulder closures on I390 northbound at select times.

-- Resurfacing of Rt. 15 from Jefferson Road to 1-390:
The majority of the paving work will be done late at night when traffic volumes are lowest. There will be nightly lane closures. The residential area between Crittenden Road and Southland Drive will be paved during the daytime hours. Work is expected to be completed by the end of November.

The information comes from the state Department of Transportation.

Students and employees are asked to plan ahead and allow for heavy traffic to get to their destination.
