Stop! Don't give in to all of that candy tonight! We have an answer for you!

In anticipation of a sweet Halloween, the The Wellness Council has an answer for all of that extra candy!

Operation Gratitude seeks to lift the spirits of the U.S. Military and First Responders, and each year they hold a Halloween Candy Give-Back program. In every care package they send to our troops, they provide a handful of candy. This event is hosted by dentists, businesses, groups and families in October and November of each year.

The Wellness Council is looking for your candy! Please bring your surplus to Sarah Benedict in the The Diversity Office (1-300) and we will deliver it to Thompson Dental Group in Brockport, a local and designated candy drop off location for Operation Gratitude. We will collect Halloween candy until Monday, November 4. This is a great way to involve the whole family.

No candy to donate? That's fine! Operation Gratitude is looking for other items as well. Click here to see those wish list items or to donate monetarily.

More information on Operation Gratitude and the Halloween Candy Give-Back program can be found here.
