Changes to Degree Works Student Information header

There is a new 'Honors Eligible' field on the Student Information header in Degree Works to indicate whether the student is eligible for Honors classes. Data suggests that students who complete an Honors Degree (or degree with distinction) at a two-year school are more likely to complete that degree (instead of transferring to another school prior to completion).

The 'Honors Eligible' field will increase the likelihood of an advisor/student considering Honors courses as an option. It will populate with 'Yes' if the student is eligible for Honors classes or will be left blank if not. Please consider a student's Honors eligibility status when advising students.

Other changes to the Student Information header: The 'COS Placement' field has been removed. The 'Advisor Location' has temporarily been changed to read 'Email your Advisor'. If an advisor is listed, the student may still click on the advisor's name to generate an email.
