Starfish is a Title III initiative to implement an early alert system here at MCC, designed to support student success and retention. Starfish allows campus faculty and staff to offer targeted interventions for students who may be experiencing academic, financial, or personal difficulties. In fall 2015, Starfish will go live with the following pilot student populations: Athletics, TS01, EOP, Student Support Services, and all Online courses.
On All College Day, Dr. Ebony Caldwell and Dr. Larry Dugan will hold three Starfish training sessions in the afternoon – at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm in 11-104. This is an opportunity to learn more about Starfish including how to log-in to Starfish, setting up your profile and reviewing Starfish features. Reservations are NOT required.
