Co-author of "Refuge Denied," Scott Miller will discuss how he and Sarah Ogilvie set out in 1996 to discover what happened to each of the 937 passengers of the St. Louis.  The St. Louis was refused permission to dock in Cuba and Florida in 1939 because its passengers were German-Jewish refugees.  The ship became a potent symbol of global indifference to the fate of the European Jewry on the eve of the Holocaust.
