Applicants Sought For Second Cohort of MCC Leadership Academy

Community college leaders face many challenges. Continued institutional success depends on well-prepared and innovative leaders.  The MCC Leadership Academy is a progressive, in-house leadership development program.  Applicants are being sought for the second cohort of the Leadership Academy at MCC.  The purpose of the Academy is to enhance the leadership skills of the College’s professional staff and teaching faculty by broadening their institutional knowledge and fostering capacity to effectively address challenges that may impact their current and/or future roles within the College.

The two-year program will commence this summer with a retreat followed by 8 seminars during the 2008-09 academic year.  Participation will be limited to 15-18 people.

For those interested in learning more about the Academy, the following informational sessions are planned:

Brighton Campus: March 10, 12 – 1 p.m., Room 5-100

Damon City Campus: March 12, 12 – 1 p.m., Room 5057

Applications must be received by no later than April 11, 2008.
