Peer Leaders Needed for the New Downtown Campus!


We are pleased to announce that Student Services at the Damon City Campus is recruiting Peer Leaders for the 2017-2018 academic year! This is a unique job opportunity for students who enjoy helping people and who want to gain valuable experience. The positions will start in May 2017.

Peer Leaders work closely with the Downtown Campus faculty and staff with new student programming over the summer and in January. Peer Leaders also provide assistance in the Student Services Center, Office of Campus Life and First Year Experience (FYE).

Candidates must have a GPA of 2.25 or higher, a basic knowledge of campus programs and services, and an interest in promoting Monroe Community College and the new Downtown Campus. In addition, applicants must be returning for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Applications with more detailed information are available at the Damon City Campus Student Services Center (5th floor) and the Office of Campus Life (5th floor). The deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 10, 2017.
