In May, Emeritus Professor of English and Art, George Campbell McDade made two presentations to the Maricopa Writing Project held at Chandler Gilbert Community College in Chandler, Arizona. The Maricopa Writing Project is an interdisciplinary program for community college teachers that focuses on writing to learn. Participants are actively involved in experimenting with different forms of writing, sharing stories, and creating assignments that are meaningful for students and enjoyable to read. George will be teaching a philosophy course at St. John Fisher College in the Fall.
