Spend Part of Your Summer in a Supervolcano! Information Sessions


GEO 195, Field Studies in the Geosciences, Yellowstone Supervolcano and Geologic Landscapes of the West, will travel to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Devils Tower and Craters of the Moon National Monument, as well as other great locations!

Complete your SUNY General Education Natural Science requirement hiking around Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and Devils Tower and Craters of the Moon National Monuments!

GEO 195 is a 4-credit SUNY General Education Natural Science course that meets Tuesday evenings beginning March 4th from 5:30-8:50 PM.  The class laboratory will be completed on-location in Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho from June 10-18th, 2014.

Seats are available for this course!  Prices for this amazing opportunity start at $1980, including round-trip airfare to Salt Lake City, Utah, transportation, lodging, entrance to parks, and select meals.  To find out more information, please attend an informational session Wednesday, November 6 from 12-1 PM or Thursday, November 7 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in 11-309.
