On Tuesday May 11, 2004 the Admissions Office, in conjunction with the Engineering Technologies department, hosted a Technologies Open House in Building 9. Over 50 prospective students and parents toured our facilities and met with faculty, staff and currently-enrolled students from Engineering Technologies, Office and Computer Programs, Engineering Science and Applied Technologies. Participants were particularly impressed with lab demonstrations and how knowledgeable and friendly the faculty and staff were.
This open house was held as part of the Pathways to Technology Grant that the college received for 2003-2005. The goal of the grant is to increase awareness of careers in the technologies.
