We are very excited about the new MCC Shuttle that will operate between the Brighton and Damon City campuses on semester weekdays. We believe many students and faculty/staff are also very enthusiastic about the upcoming service; so much that we may experience unusual demand the first two weeks of the semester. Therefore, we are asking faculty and staff members to refrain from riding the shuttle from 9/7 thru 9/17. This will allow us to evaluate the demand and to let ridership settle a bit as this often occurs with other services that experience excessive demand at the beginning of the fall semester.
As a reminder, please refer back to the Tribune announcement of 9/23/10 on ID Card Verification and have your card checked if you will be riding the shuttle. There are two remaining dates to take care of this before the semester begins (9/2/10 and 9/3/10). Beginning September 7th, you may experience longer wait times.
