Best new series to binge watch!

With never-before-seen footage, you can now access a collection of Degree Works guides and tutorials to help students register for the right classes, track their progress to graduation, create a customized semester-by-semester plan, and see how their MCC coursework will transfer to another SUNY school.

All of this can be found on ONE channel on ONE network! myMCC/Employees/Faculty Essentials/Degree Works

New episodes include:

  • The "Degree Works Worksheet" tutorial for students - a comprehensive guide with fun graphics explaining each piece of information on a student's worksheet such as the student's program, pathway and advisor, how to understand program requirements, and course links to the master schedule.

  • The "Transfer Finder" tutorial and guide - an easy-to follow tutorial that explains how to use the Transfer Finder tool which integrates MCC's Degree Works with other SUNY schools for students to explore the numerous transfer opportunities within the SUNY system. The guide is a handy, printable resource with directions on each component of the Degree Works Transfer Finder.

Also available online...

  • A new web-based Degree Works FAQs page with answers to over 40 common and unique questions (accessed directly from the Degree Works worksheet)

  • An updated Degree Works webpage where the student-produced "Intro to Degree Works" video takes top billing!

The Degree Works Advising Manual has been temporarily removed. No employees were harmed in the making of these resources.
