Foundation Gold Star Gala Invitation Wins ADDY Awards

While the Foundation hosted a successful Gold Star Gala presented by M&T Bank this past weekend, raising over $300,000 (net) in support of Monroe Community College and our students, last year’s Gala invitation is still earning accolades. 

Working hand-in-hand with the Foundation staff and the Gold Star Gala Planning Committee, the team at Dixon Schwabl + Company, led by MCC Foundation director Lauren Dixon, took home a Judge’s Special Recognition and three gold awards for their work on the Foundation’s 23rd Annual Gold Star Gala invitation, The Great Circumnavigation, at the Rochester Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards.  Dixon Schwabl + Company went on to earn a Gold Regional American Advertising Award.  The creative invitation will be judged an additional time at the national level at the American Advertising Awards in June. 

Kudos to the Foundation team for making the Gold Star Gala an extraordinary success!
