I am pleased to announce to the college community that the Board of Trustees has appointed Craig Rand to the position of Interim Dean of Academic Services at the Damon City Campus. Mr. Rand completed his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Physical Education K-12 at Ithaca College and is currently a doctoral candidate (ABD). Craig is a Professor and is currently Chair of the Health and Physical Education Department . He has been teaching in the department since 1987 and has taught at both the Brighton and Damon City Campus.
At the college level, Craig serves as Chair of the Chairs Network, is co-chair of the Diversity Committee and is very involved with professional development activities.
Mr. Rand’s many years of service, including his teaching and leadership experiences make him well suited to carry out the responsibilities and functions of the position of Interim Dean of Academic Services at the Damon City Campus.
