On April 1st, a “Don’t Fool with Your Heart” table was set up at both the Brighton and Damon City Campuses to raise funds and register walkers for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk on April 12th. Altogether, we raised $825 that day, thanks to an amazing $750 donation from our own big-hearted Kimberley Willis!
There is still time to sign up to walk on April 12th. You can go to the Fit & Friendly channel on myMCC and click on the Heart Walk information and it will take you to MCC’s team page. We want to show that Monroe Community College takes the “Community” in our name very seriously!
The walk takes place at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. with a variety of indoor family entertainment and health screenings. Come join the fun!
