Please join me for a keynote session on the Power of Diversity tomorrow at Damon City Campus, or on Friday with Dr. Susan Salvador on the Brighton Campus.
These two keynote sessions are among the activities in this year’s Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D. Diversity Series, which is sponsored by MCC’s Diversity Council. The annual event recognizes the pioneering spirit and outstanding leadership of Dr. Young, a leading Rochester educator, and founding trustee and board chair emerita of MCC.
I am looking forward to hearing from our distinguished speaker, Gary R. Howard, a well-respected and insightful leader in multicultural education, and to hear his thoughts on making MCC a more inclusive environment. His interactive presentation will help us further actualize the dialogue of the past two years, putting it into action and fully materializing the spirit of diversity and inclusion within our institution.
I encourage you to attend either keynote session – at Damon City Campus in Room 4151 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, or on the Brighton Campus in the Warshof Conference Center from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16.
