AAWCC's Lollypop Farm Drive

The MCC Chapter of the American Association of Women in Community College is excited to share their March service project.  From March 12 – 16, 2012, we are collecting items for the Lollypop Farm from their wish list:  https://www.lollypop.org/site/pp.aspx?c=clKUI9OQIoJcH&b=7795665

Lollypop Farm is located in Victor, N.Y. and has been helping animals and people since 1873.  They have over 90 staff members and more than 800 volunteers, and care for over 11,000 homeless animals each year.  Lollypop Farm is an open-admission shelter, accepting every animal that comes through their doors.  They care for cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets, birds, horses, pigs and other farm animals.  They have an outdoor farm yard petting area and walk with education displays that is great for a family outing.

The first dog I ever owned, a 9 month old beautiful pure bred German Shepherd named Maxwell, was adopted from Lollypop Farm.  He lived with me for 10 years before he developed cancer.  I am thankful for the opportunity to give Maxwell a great life and have fallen in love with the breed of German Shepherds.

Please see the attached flyer for the drop off locations most convenient for you.  Feel free to share the flyer in your office suites.  If you have any letters / notes / pictures of animals that you have adopted from Lollypop Farm we encourage you to share those too at the drop off sites.  We will collect them all and share them with the Lollypop Farm when we drop off our donations, and will also share them here in our Tribune follow-up article.

Thank you.
