MCC: Selective Students Start Here

Each month, MCC sends a briefing document to legislators and others to inform them of key initiatives related to our mission and the many ways we help students achieve their goals. Often, these briefs provide our external stakeholders with a sense of how MCC is responding to the national higher education agenda.

The February 2014 brief (attached) focuses on how high-achieving high school graduates thrive at MCC and the many ways we prepare students for scholarship and transfer opportunities. The brief highlights the dedication and quality of our faculty, our high-impact learning culture and Honors Institute, and the exceptional four-year universities where MCC graduates are continuing their studies, preparing to take on the world!

We hope that you will find this information helpful in your own work at MCC and in your conversations about the college in the community.
